Marsna International Jambourette!!!

A REPORT ON THE EVENT

At 11.55pm on Sunday 29th July, 4 Scouts and four Leaders set off for a Scouting Jambouree in Meersen, Holland.

The boys and leaders had been fund raising for this event for a number of months prior to their departure.   The atmosphere was one of excitement on the part of the boys, and one of aprehension about the journey on the part of the Leaders.

Nineteen hours later at 7pm, the group arrived at the destination, the Scout navigation system only failing slightly on the outward journey.

The camp consisted of approximately 250 Scouts and Leaders from Various countries including Portugal, Tunisia, Canada, Germany, England, Gambia, and of course Holland.
